Naga Shaurya is very confident about his next upcoming project Nartanasala. The maker of Nartanasala has designed a different character for the hero who is a gay and often hangs out with girls and acts like one of them. The sources close to the film industry says that Nartanasala is all about the story of a guy named Arjuna who turns into a transgender while he is doing his Agnyathavasam. Nartanasala is about two friends Shourya and Ajay, who pretend to be gays and finds shelter at a dance studio, run by a woman. Nartanasala is said to be loosely based on Bollywood romantic comedy film Dostana, directed by Tarun Mansukhani and jointly produced by Karan Johar and Hiroo Yash Johar, in which Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham pretend to be gay to share an apartment with a girl (Priyanka Chopra), but both fall in love with her.
According to Naga Shaurya, Nartanasala is a comic caper. He is confident that the script has the potential to take him to the next level as an actor. Kashmira Paradeshi and Yamini Bhaskar are playing the female leads. The film is directed by Srinivas Chakravarthy and produced by Usha Mulpuri, whereas it has the music by Mahati Swara Sagar.
It is also heard that initially the director approached few other Telugu heroes to play the role of gay at the big screen but they rejected the offer. Though they were impressed with the script but not ready to play the role of gay. But Naga Shaurya is one who accepted the offer immediately and became ready to come on the board. Naga Shaurya is confident that he will become successful to impress the audiences because of unique storyline. Whenever Telugu audiences talk about a gay role, they remind us about Brihannala role of NTR in Nartanasala.
