YSRCP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is known for hitting headlines with his resolutions. Now, he has hit the headlines one more time. Jagan had a review meeting with the Forest and Environment department and showed his serious disappointment to the initiatives that are being taken and followed by the state. Jagan has further ordered a plastic ban and he went on to waive off the green tax.
This means AP CM has put the checkmate to the industrial houses which are responsible for shedding pollution gases. Apart from this, Jagan has ordered the officials on the levels of pollution that are emitted by the pharma companies in the state. He further expressed the serious dissatisfaction over those pharma industries that are emitting pollution by erecting their base in the hatchery zones, which are prohibited by the central government. AP CM has ordered the officials to study the best practices across the globe to control pollution and come up to him. Later, Jagan worried about the growing pollution in Vizag and instructed the respective officials to take charge of preventive measures.
