Brahmotsavam celebrations:  YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, offered silk cloth to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala. On Wednesday, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy visited Tirumala to offer the sacred silk cloth to Lord Balaji on the occasion of Brahmotsavam festival.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was in Delhi, he directly flew in a special flight to Tirumala and landed at Renigunta airport at around 3:30 pm on Wednesday.  He visited on the hills yesterday evening along with MPs PV Mithun Reddy and V Prabhakar Reddy.

Ministers M  Gautam Reddy, Srinivasa Gopalakrishna,  Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, K Narayana Swamy, Alla Kalikrishna Srinivas, district MLAs, district joint collector, TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy, police personnel and others welcomed the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy  at the airport.

 Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy carried the  silk cloths kept on a silver plate on his head and later he handed silk cloth over to the priests of the Tirupati Devasthanams.

On Thursday morning,  CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will have darshan again and take part in Sundara Kanda recital. Later, AP CM will take part in Karnataka Choultry foundation laying program and later he  will fly to Amaravati. This time, Brahmotsavam in Tirumala is being conducted with no processions of the Lord.
