AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is on full speed to fulfill his promises which he made during the time of elections. On one hand, the liquor ban has started which has the phase-wise limitations in purchasing liquor. Now, Jagan has been moving towards his other poll promise which reads giving 50% prominence or reservation to women in the market committee chairpersons posts.
From the reports, it was known that the YCP government has taken a leaping move and allocated half of the market chairman posts which is from committee posts. G.O on this reservation has also been issued and it will be done by the end of October month, reportedly. It was also known that the reservation has been allocated based on the SC/ST and OBC’s.
This means half of the committee members would be women and there wouldn’t be any sort of gender discrimination anymore even the government has equalized it with the right proportions on caste wise too.
