The pic of YSR Telangana Party Chief YS Sharmila with her doting son Raja is going viral on the Internet. Today on the occasion of her son Raja’ birthday, YS Sharmila took to her Instagram and shared a pic of her with son and wished her darling son Raja. She wrote, “ Happy Birthday Raja, Happiness always! I love you forever!!” Raja is son of YS Sharmila and evangelist Anil Kumar.
YS Sharmila made headlines after she took up campaigning on behalf of the YSRCP along with her mother YS Vijayamma, in the absence of her elder brother YS Jaganmohan Reddy from June 2012 in Andhra Pradesh. YSR Congress Party won 15 of the 18 assembly seats and 1 of 1 Parliament seat for which the by-elections were held. She started her 3,000 km-walkathon at Idupulapaya in Kadapa district on 18 October 2012. Before 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, Sharmila undertook an 11 days bus Yatra across Andhra Pradesh in branded buses.
Recently YS Sharmila Reddy announced she would contest from the Palair constituency in the 2023 state Assembly election. She said that she took the decision to ensure that welfare schemes of her father and late former CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy, reached one and all.
