The police have placed the MLA of Nellore Rural, Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, under house arrest after he called for a protest to demand the completion of a Christian community hall in the Gandhi Nagar.

Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, who was suspended from YCRCP, was house arrested by the police on Tuesday. Kotam Reddy Sridhar Reddy today called for a protest regarding the funding for the construction of a Christian Community Hall in Gandhinagar in Nellore Rural Assembly Constituency.  Kotamreddy Sreedhar Reddy blamed the police for house arresting him during a peaceful protest.

Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy demanded the government to provide funds for the construction of Christian community hall. The MLA said that he will protest peacefully. MLA Kotam Reddy Sridhar Reddy said that he is not creating any destruction. 

The sources say that MLA planned to sit a protest at the land allotted to construct the community hall.

It is known that the YCP leadership suspended Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy. Even before the suspension of the YCP leadership, Kotam Reddy Sridhar Reddy protested in various ways.  

It is known that Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy had previously alleged that despite being an MLA of the ruling party, there were situations where he had to protest to solve the problems. 

On the other hand, it is known that even when Chandrababu Naidu was Chief Minister, Kotam Reddy Sridhar Reddy protested to solve the problems in his constituency.
