YSRCP MLA Samineni Udaya Bhanu’s son, Samineni Prasad was booked in a case for misbehaving and allegedly kicking Madhapur traffic inspector by Madhapur Police. According to the latest update, he assaulted traffic inspector/cop on Monday evening.
Madhapur Police said that Samineni Udaya Bhanu’s son, Samineni Prasad picked up an argument with traffic inspector G Rajagopal Reddy over a ‘U’ turn near Meenakshi Towers at the Hitex traffic signal, when the vehicle in which Samineni Prasad was travelling was stopped by a traffic constable, which turned violent and he assaulted the officer.
When the Traffic inspector B Rajagopal Reddy who was present there. tried to intervene, Samineni Prasad continued to argue and also kicked him. Now a case under the Section 332 (Voluntarily causing hurt to deter the public servant from his duty), 353 (Assault or the criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty) and 506 (Punishment for the criminal intimidation) of IPC was booked against Samineni Prasad and he was taken into custody.
Madhapur inspector S Venkat Reddy also confirmed that Samineni Prasad misbehaved with the traffic police and a case has been registered against him.
Samineni Udaya Bhanu represents Jaggayyapeta Assembly constituency in Krishna district whereas his son Samineni Prasad is running a business in City Hyderabad.
