Adivi Sesh is currently working for an upcoming film Major, which is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka. The film Major is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who lost his life rescuing hostages during the 26/11 attacks at the Taj hotel in Mumbai in the year 2008. The team has already confirmed that the movie will release in theatres only on 11th February 2022 Worldwide in a very grand manner in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. Now according to the latest update, Zee Music has grabbed the worldwide music rights of the film Major for all the languages for a massive price which is highest so far for Adivi Sesh.
Major has Saiee Manjrekar in the female lead role. The upcoming big budget drama also features versatile actor Prakash Raj, Revathi, Goodachari girl Dhulipala and Murali Sharma in pivotal roles.
The upcoming film is written by Adivi Sesh, and it is inspired from the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the NSG commando who lost his life while rescuing in the year 2008.
Adivi Sesh starrer Major is bankrolled by Sony Pictures Films India in association with superstar Mahesh Babu’s GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies. The entire shoot of Major has been wrapped up and currently it is in the post production stage.
