Aditi Rao Hydari about casting couch: Aditi Rao Hydari, who is waiting for the release of Sammohanam, opened up about casting couch in her recent interview.
Aditi Rao Hydari is very excited as her first Telugu movie Sammohanam is gearing up for grand release on 15th June 2018. Yesterday Aditi Rao Hydari took to twitter and wrote, “Super excited for my first Telugu film!! #Sammohanam!! Catch #Sameera at your nearest theatres in just 2 days!!!! @mokris_1772 @isudheerbabu @SrideviMovieOff #SammohanamOnJune15th.”
Recently during the media interaction, Bhoomi and Padmaavat fame Aditi Rao Hydari opened up about casting couch. She accepted that casting couch exists in Film Industry but said that she had never been a victim of casting couch. Aditi Rao Hydari added, “Casting couch exists everywhere and this is misuse of power. We need to be fearless and speak up against any kind of injustice like s*xual harassment, casting couch without thinking what people around us might think. I know that it’s very tough to say no at that moment because say no means losing out the opportunities but if you have talent then no body can stop you. So there is need to say no.”
Aditi Rao Hydari also talked about the recent incidents – Kathua and Unnao rape and murder cases. The Cheliyaa actress said, “The accused should be punished to set an example for others.” Aditi Rao Hydari, also played a rape victim in Bhoomi in the direction of Omung Kumar, which was released in 2017.
