The item song in upcoming rural and action drama Pushpa 2 has been in the news for quite sometime now and news has come out that B town actress Janhvi Kapoor has been approached by the makers. There will be an item song in Pushpa 2: Rule which has Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles.
It is known that South diva Samantha Ruth Prabhu had set the screens on fire with the item song ‘Oo Antava‘ in the first part. The item turned out to be one of the major factors in attracting crowds to theatres in mass centres. After such success, the makers are planning to recreate the magic but this time, not Sam but another actress Janhvi Kapoor is being considered.
The sources say that the discussions are ongoing regarding remuneration and other logistics for Janhvi Kapoor’ potential involvement. With Pushpa 2’ release approaching, shooting for the song is expected to begin soon.
Currently Janhvi Kapoor is sharing the screen space with Jr NTR in action drama Devara.
