Anjali as Lisaa

Anjali as LisaaAnjali was last seen in Vijay Antony starrer Kaasi/ Kaali, the movie received mixed response on  its opening day. Now according to the latest update, Anjali will be next seen in an upcoming horror movie ‘Lisaa’, to be helmed by Raju Vishwanath and produced by Cinematographer PG Muthiah under the banner of  PG Media Works.

 The maker have released the first look poster of Anjali from Lisaa which gives a glimpse that Lisaa is an horror  thriller drama. Anjali  has also shared the first look poster of Lisaa on her  Twitter and captioned it, “Me as Lisaa,, my next tamil #ANJALIasLISAA.”  Lisaa  will be  the second  horror flick of Anjali in a span of 2 years after having done Balloon previously.

For the last few years, Anjali has featured consistently in films of all four South languages. But even she recognises that 2018 is quite different, what with the variety of films she’s got. Anajali  kick started the year with Rosapoo – her comeback film to Malayalam cinema after seven years.

 Recently during the media interaction, the makers opened up about  Anjali starrer Lisaa and said, “Lisaa will be the country’s first ever stereoscopic 3D horror film shot in Helium 8K resolution. After My Dear Kuttichathan there weren’t many films made in Tamil that employed the use of 3D technology. Even though there have been films such as Haunted in Bollywood, we’re the first to use Helium cameras in a horror film. This is the same camera used for Shankar’s directorial venture 2.0 starring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson as well.”

Santhosh Dhayanidhi is on the board to score the music and Gowtham is editor for PG Media Works’ fourth production venture Lisaa.

 Anjali has  been the part of few Telugu movies- Balupu, Sankarabharanam, Dictatior, Chitrangada, Masala and others.  On the otherside, currently Anjali is busy in her upcoming movies Nadodigal 2, Geethanjali 2 and  Rajinikanth & Karthik_Subbaraj starrer upcoming film, which are in different production stages.
