Megastar Chiranjeevi’s highly-anticipated film ‘Sye Raa’, a biopic based on the first Telugu freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, will be shot and even released in China. Apparently, Chiru is keen on releasing his magnum opus in China after noticing the ever growing craze for Indian movies in China.
Chiru is busy in the shoot of Sye Raa and very soon Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will also join the sets. Following the three to four days of shooting with Big B, the unit will move to Kochi for a hectic schedule.
The sources close to the film unit say, “After Kochi, the team will fly to China to shoot some major scenes there. The actor is keen to release the film in China too.” According to Khaidi No 150 star, Sye Raa has the potential for success there and wants to encash on the entertainment tax benefits from the government from shooting there. Since last year, several Bollywood movies like Dangal, Secret Superstar and recently Bajrangi Bhaijaan were dubbed in Chinese and went on to become hugely successful at the box-office
Helmed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan under his Konidela Productions banner, the film is being made on the budget of Rs. 200 Cr. Apart from Chiru and Big B, the film has other stars like Nayantara, Jagapathi Babu, Vijay Sethupathi in supporting role.
