Dulquer Salmaan, the son of veteran actor Mammootty, has firmly set his eyes on Bollywood, with another lucrative project being confirmed by him.
The actor who is making his Bollywood debut in Ronnie Scrwevala’s Karwaan starring Irrfan Khan and youtube sensation Milhila Palkar, is going to play the lead role in an upcoming Bollywood movie, the big screen adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s 2008 novel The Zoya Factor. Sonam Kapoor is on the board to play the female lead role.
The sources say that It’s an interesting character and ‘O Kadhal Kanmani’ star Dulquer has liked the script. While he has committed to the project he is yet to sign on the dotted line.” On the other-side, Bollywood fashionista Sonam Kapoor who will be next seen in Akshay Kumar’s Padman, had also confirmed the news in August 2017 that she was a part of this film. She tweeted, “Super excited to work with amazing sister duo, Aarti and Pooja Shetty, with the brilliant Abhishek Sharma on Anuja Chauhan’s Zoya factor (sic).”
Rucha Pathak of Fox Star Studios, who is bankrolling this upcoming saga said, “We are yet to finalise the cast and will soon make the announcement. “ The regular shoot is expected to commence from March-April.
Dulquer Salmaan who was last seen in ‘Solo’, is currently busy in his ongoing project ‘Mahanati’, the biopic of legendary actress Savitri, in which Keerthy Suresh is playing titular role and Samantha Akkineni will be seen in important role. On the other side, Sonam will also be seen in Veere Di Wedding, which also features Kareena Kapoor.
