Plus Points:
- Raj Tarun
- Ridhhi Kumar glamour
- Cinematography
- Songs
- Kerala Episode
Minus Points
- Second half
- Screenplay
- Routine storyline
Performance: Raj Tarun has done his usual best in the role of mechanic and as lover. Riddhi Kumar is pretty average on acting side but she became successful to attract the audiences by her glamour show. Rajeev Kanakala has delivered is best. Though there was nothing special in his character but the way he acted and showcased emotions, needs applause. Sachin Khedekar is wasted. Ajay, Subbaraju, Praveen, Sathya and Satyam Rajesh performed accordingly.
Technical: The story of Lover is simple. Cinematography by Sameer Reddy is superb. Entire film is filled with chick colors. Music scored by Ankit Tiwari is of high standards. All the songs are good and are the major assets of the film. The background music is excellent. Dialogues are good. Production values by Harshith Reddy, the nephew of Dil Raju are top notch. Editing by Prawin Pudi is good.
Analysis: Overall Lover is a decent romantic and family entertainer movie. Plus points of the film are songs, cinematography and production value. On the flipside, the climax of Lover ended up in hurry. Anish Krishna came up with predictable storyline to impress the audiences. The first half is good but the major part of the movie is filled with routine attempts of Raj to impress his lover Charitha.
