Rajamouli’s son Karthikeya is now turning producer with an upcoming movie Aakasavani. The wedding boy Karthikeya is going to bankroll his first film, Aakasavani, a period drama. In a major surprise, he is all set to float his new production house. The upcoming project will be helmed by Ashwin Gangaraju, who has worked with Rajamouli as an assistant director and associate script writer on projects like Baahubali and Eega. Who will play the lead roles, are yet to be revealed. Few months back, Karthieya was in news headline because of his engagement.

The sources close to Karthikeya say that Rajamoui’s on Karthikeya had evinced interest to be a producer rather than take up the directorial mantle like his father. And Rajamouli is one who always likes to encourage the interests of his loving son. It is heard that when Karthikeya expressed his desire of starting a new production house to his father, he appreciated his step.

Karthikeya was the unit director of Baahubali franchise whereas Pooja Prasad, is the daughter of Ram Prasad (Jagapathi Babu’s brother) and the granddaughter of producer VB Rajendra Prasad, is a renowned name in the southern music industry. Pooja Prasad is a carnatic singer. She is a known figure in the world of music and has sung lots of devotional tracks for various albums. Both Karthikeya and Pooja Prasad will tie the knot very soon.
