Sai Pallavi had no qualms about playing mother on her Tamil debut Karu

Fidaa and MCA aka Middle Class Abbayi fame Sai Pallavi  is foraying into Kollywood with a bilingual Telugu-Tamil film ‘Kanam/Karu’ in which she will be seen playing the role of a mother. When numbers of actresses are not accepting the role of mother, Sai Pallavi is one who agreed to become  the part of this film.  Currently she is busy in the promotional activities of the film.  During the media interaction, she said, “She had no qualms about playing a mother onscreen.” The actress further said, she didn’t know that there was a “misconception about playing mother roles early in the career.”

Directed by AL Vijay and produced by Lyca Productions banner , Sai Pallavi plays the role of mother of four-year-old girl in the movie, which has Tollywood star, Naga Shaurya essaying the male lead.  Karu/Kanam focuses on the issue of abortion. Baby Veronica is playing the important roles.
