Sai Pallavi who was delivered a series of hit movies like Fidaa, MCA aka Middle Class Abbayi and she was last seen in woman centric movie Kanam/Diya, is currently busy in his upcoming Kollywood movie Maari 2. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Sai Pallavi will be seen driving a three wheeler in this upcoming gangster comedy movie Maari 2.
Sai Pallavi will share the screen space with Superstar Rajinikanth’s son-in-law and actor Dhanush. The sources say that Sai Pallavi underwent a training to learn auto driving. The 45% of the shoot has been already wrapped up.
Maari 2, is being helmed by Balaji Mohan and bankrolled by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music for Maari 2.
The first part had gorgeous diva Kajal Aggarwal as the neighbourhood girl of Maari. But in second part, Sai Pallavi is on the board to play the female lead and she is essaying the role of auto driver. Tovino Thomas is playing the antagonist in Maari 2. Apart from them, Maari 2 also has Robo Shankar and Kreshna in supporting roles. Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar is said to be essaying a role that has got negative shades.
Even before venturing into Kollywood Sai Pallavi has gained a commendable fan-following thanks to her Malayalam film Premam. Sai Pallavi is well known face for Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam audiences so all eyes on her next film Maari 2.
Sources say that Dhanush is currently busy in the promotional activities of his upcoming English film ‘The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir’ and he is expected to come back to India by the end of this month to resume the shoot of Maari 2.
On the otherside, Currently Sai Pallavi is romancing with young actor Sharwanand in Padi Padi Leche Manasu, which is progressing at brisk pace in the direction of Lie fame Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Prasad Chukkapalli, Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas. Sai Pallavi is also acting in Tamil gangster drama NGK , directed by Selvaraghavan in which Suriya and Rakul Preet Singh are playing the lead roles.
