Sharwanand says yes for SamanthaIt is known news that noted distributor and producer Dil Raju has brought the remake rights of Tamil film 96. Though he was asked to dub the film in Telugu but he rejected the idea and planned to make its Telugu remake. Now according to the latest update, Dil Raju has finalized the actors to play the lead roles. The sources close to the producer reveal that Dil Raju has roped Samantha Akkineni and Sharwanand in the remake of 96.

 Prem Kumar is on the board to  helm the Telugu remake of Tamil hit movie 96. Recently the makers contacted Sharwanand and he immediate gave his nod without any second thought. He became agree to share the screen space with Samantha Akkineni. Finally Sharwanand will be seen playing the role of Vijay Sethupathi whereas Samantha will play Trisha Krishnan’s role.

The pre-production work of the film has been already started and the regular shoot is expected to commence from February 2019. The movie will be bankrolled under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations whereas it will hit the theaters on the occasion of Dussehra next year.

 Sharwanand was last seen in Mahanubhavudu, which was released in 2017 and he is waiting for the release of his next upcoming romantic entertainer Padi Padi Leche Manasu, which is currently in post production stage. Fidaa and MCA fame Sai Pallavi is playing the female lead. This is the first time when Sharwanand is working with Sai Pallavi.

 On the otherside, Samantha Akkineni was last seen in woman centric movie U Turn, directed by Pawan Kumar, which was just average at the box office and currently she is working with her husband Akkineni Naga Chaitanya for upcoming film Majili. She is also working with Nandini Reddy, for the remake of Korean movie Miss Granny.
