Young actor Varun Tej who is basking in the glory of his previous offering Fidaa and Tholi Prema, will be next seen playing astronaut in the upcoming untitled film in the direction of Ghazi fame Sankalp Reddy. Gautamiputra Satakarni fame Krish who is currently busy in Manikarnika starring Kangana Ranuat, is overseeing the pre-production work as the film is being bankrolled by his home banner. Producer Y Rajeev Reddy is co-producing the project. Interestingly, this will be the second space film in Indian cinema after the Tamil film ‘Tik Tik Tik’. Expectations are very high. Hence the makers are carefully choosing the actors for pivotal roles in upcoming saga.
According to the latest update, Avasarala Srinivas has been roped in to play an important character. The sources close to the film unit says that Avasarala will be seen essaying the role of a scientist in this film. His role is very crucial in orchestrating the Space Mission that is eventually carried out by two astronauts, played by Varun Tej and Cheliyaa actress Aditi Rao Hydari.
This is the second time, when Avasarala got the opportunity to play the role of Scientist. Earlier in Nani’s production venture Awe, he played an aspiring scientist.
It has also come out that the makers are bringing Hollywood stunt choreographers on the board for the space scenes. Varun Tej is gearing up to undergo a drastic transformation from head to toe whereas the makers are busy in the finalization of rest cast and crews.
