Tollywood veteran director and producer Tammareddy Bharadwaj opened up about ban on media. He said that Telugu Film Industry and media have cooperated with each other over the decades.
It is known news that recently number of celebrities from Telugu Film Industry including Chiranjeevi, Naga Babu, Allu Aravind, Naga Babu, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Naga Chaitanya, Nani and almost all the actors attended a secret meeting in Annapurna Studios for imposing ban on popular media outlets. The target was few reputed news channels (TV9, ABN, TV5, Mahaa news channels) and the reason behind ban on these news Channels was Jana Sena President & actor Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Telugu actress Sri Reddy’s controversy.
Few Industry people said, “Media is total depend on film Industry’, ‘Media is surviving on entertainment industry'”. According to few, Media is making money from the contents like teaser, trailer and songs which are provided by the people of Film Industry.”
Recently Mega brother Naga Babu said that the decision had been kept on hold. Tammareddy Bharadwaj advised the media not to encourage the debates based on the topic of social media trolling and also said that the media should focus only on the important public issue. He also requested to media, not to waste their valuable time on the celebrities’s personal issues and their affairs.
