Tollywood actor and comedian Allu Ramesh passed away due to cardiac arrest yesterday in his hometown, Visakhapatnam. The unfortunate news was shared on Facebook by director Anand Ravi.

Allu Ramesh was 52.  He is popularly known for comic roles in several Telugu films. He turned more popular with YouTube short films and web series lately.  He  started his acting career with Tarun’s Chirujallu and acted in more than 50  movies including, Kerintha, Blade Babji, and others.   The films like ‘Napoleon’ and ‘Tholubommalata’ earned Allu Ramesh appreciation and recognition. Over a two decade long career,  Allu Ramesh went on to appear in several popular and successful  movies. He was last seen in Rajendra Prasad’s Anukoni Prayanam on the big screens. 

Allu Ramesh was recently seen in the famous web series ‘Maa Vidakulu’ where he played the role of father of the lead actress. His acting prowess and comic timing made him a lovable star among the masses.
