The Accidental Prime Minister trailer has been out! The film starring Anupam Kher as former PM Manmohan Singh, is based on the book of the same name by Sanjaya Baru. Akshay Khanna is playing Sanjaya Baru, who was the media adviser of Manmohan Singh, in the film, which is scheduled to hit the theaters on 11th January 2019. Anupam Kher will be seen as Manmohan Singh, the economist and politician who served as the Prime Minister of India from 2004 to 2014 under the United Progressive Alliance. Suzanne Bernert is playing the role of Sonia Gandhi, former president of Indian National Congress.
