Maharshi is Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu’ 25th project. This is the first time, Mahesh Babu and Vamsi Paidipally are working together for a project. Maharshi has done fantastic pre-release business with its theatrical/distribution, satellite, digital and dubbing rights. DJ and Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava fame Pooja Hegde is on the board to play the female lead in Maharshi, which is all about love and friendship. Allari Naresh, Prakash Raj and Jagapathi Babu are playing the supporting roles in the film, which is being bankrolled by Dil Raju, Ashwini Dutt and PVP. It is a high budget project with a major portion of it being shot in the US. The film is about three friends, played by Mahesh Babu, Allari Naresh and Pooja Hegde.
