Manjima Mohan is going to play the role of Nara Bhuvaneshwari, the wife of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and daughter of legend NT Rama Rao in NTR biopic whereas Baahubali and Ghazi fame Rana Daggubati will be seen essaying the role of Chandrababu Naidu. The sources close to the team of NTR biopic reveal that Manjima Mohan, who made her Telugu debut with Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo starring Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, is going to share the screen space with Rana Daggubati in NTR’s biopic, which is progressing at brick pace in the direction of National award winning direction Krish and Nandamuri Balakrishna is playing the titular role NTR. On 6th August Rana Daggubati has officially confirmed that he will play Chandrababu Naidu. Yesterday Baahubali star wrote on his twitter, “My Day 1 being part of the grand story of the mighty #NTR!! @DirKrish and Baba such a pleasure to be back on sets with you guys after 7 years!! #CBN.”
The film’s shooting is currently underway in Hyderabad wherein the team is filming scenes leading to NTR’s film and personal life on Nandamuri Balakrishna, Vidya Balan, is playing NTR’s wife, Basavatarakam in this NTR biopic, which is being shot primarily in Telugu and will also be dubbed into Tamil and Hindi. The NTR biopic has Kaikala Satyanarayana, Prakash Raj, Ravi Kishan, Jisshu Sengupta, Murali Sharma, Sachin Khedekar and Sumanth in supporting roles, which is being produced by Balakrishna, Vishnu Induri and Sai Korrapati. The film, which has music by MM Keeravani is slated to hit the theaters on the occasion of Sankranthi 2019.
Teja was initially roped in to helmed NTR biopic but he opted out from the project for various reasons.
Meanwhile Manjima Mohan is working for an upcoming Malayalam movie Zam Zam and Tamil movie Devarattam, which are in different production stages.
