Story: Raju (Raj Tarun) is a kleptomaniac and he cannot control his desire to steal. One day he meets Thanvi (Amyra Dastur) and falls in her love.  Thanvi asks Raju to impress her grandfather who despises thieves.  What will Raju do now? Will Raju be able to overcome his natural desires to be a better person for Thanvi?  To get these answers one should watch the movie on silver screen.

Plus Points:

  • Raj Tarun
  • Rajendra Prasad

Minus Points:

  • Screenplay
  • Editing

Performance:  Raj Tarun made sure his energy and attitude adds up to the kleptomaniac character. His performance is impressive. He entertains with his nice comedy timing. Amyra Dastur is perfect for the role. Rajendra Prasad does his part with zest.  Comedy actor Prudhvi justifies with his role. Nagineedu and Rao Ramesh are pretty good.  Sithara, Subbaraju and others performed accordingly.

Technical: The story of a kleptomaniac should be a bone-tickler but too many plot points, characters and forced comedy spoil the entertainment level of Rahu Gadu. There are some silly sequences which are added to the movie. Gopi Sundar failed to make impact with the background score and  the placement of couple of songs, looked like a speed breaker. The editing could have been a lot better. Production value by AK Entertainments Pvt Ltd are good. The screenplay lost its flow and has few jerks. The Cinematographer did a fine job.

Analysis:  Sanjana Reddy tries to impress the audiences by adding the terrorism episode, love triangles, doctors wanting to win Noble prizes by finding miraculous cures to kleptomania, in simple romantic and comedy entertainer but became fail to execute it.  The direction, predictable storyline, tedious narrations are the major drawbacks.
