Rangasthalam and Mahanati heading Melbourne Film FestivalRangasthalam starring Ram Charan and Mahanati starring Keerthy Suresh will be screened at the Melbourne Film Festival.

Rangasthalam starring mega hero Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni, not only won many accolades in Telugu Film Industry, the film’s mettle taking it to an international platform. Recently we have reported that Rangasthalam is going to be released in China and now according to the latest update, Rangasthalam has been selected as one of the Telugu movies  to be screened at The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2018 (Melbourne Film Festival).  Not only Rangasthalam, another movie Mahanati will also be screen at Melbourne Film Festival this year.

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne-2018, has announced its regional films list. Rangasthalam has got  entry in the category of Best Picture.  The committee has also invited Ram Charan as a special guest to the Melbourne film festival.  The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne will take place in Australia from 10th August to 22nd August.

Rangasthalm, the village based drama is helmed by Sukumar and produced by Mythi Movie Makers whereas the film has the music by Devi Sri Prasad. Apart from lead pair, Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni, the film has other stars like Aadhi Pinisetty, Prakash Raj, Anasuya Bharadwaj and others in supporting roles.

Mahanati, the biopic of legendary actress Savitri, directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by C. Ashwini Dutt, Swapna Dutt  and  Priyanka Dutt under the banners of Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema whereas Mickey J Meyer has composed the music. Keerthy Suresh played Savitri in Mahanati whereas Dulquer Salmaan essayed Gemini Ganesan. Samantha Akkineni and Vijay Devarakonda, played Journalists.

 Both the movies Rangasthalam and Mahanati have turned out blockbuster at the box office and received lot of applauses by the celebrities. Rangasthalam has created non-Baahubali records in several areas.

If both the movies- Rangasthalam and Mahanati receive awards at the international level, it will be a proud moment for South Indian Film Industry.
