It has been a year since the release of SS Rajamouli’ magnum opus RRR which left an indelible mark on the Indian film industry. #1YearOfHistoricalRRR is currently trending on Twitter. On this occasion, the team reminded the achievements of RRR during the year.  The makers also thanked the audience for their love.  The team of RRR released a new poster and tweeted: It’s been a year since #RRRMovie was released and it is still running in theatres somewhere in the world, getting housefuls. This feeling is bigger than any award, and we cannot thank you all enough for all the love you have showered throughout.

Tollywood has increased its reputation by achieving many achievements in the year. Apart from South and North, Indian cinema has shown its power by receiving awards internationally. It has made not only Indian audiences but also foreigners fans of Telugu cinema. On the other hand, RRR created a record at the box office as well.

On 25th March, 2022, RRR was released pan India in five languages across the world to overwhelming response. The film has action scenes, amazing visual effects, emotions, drama, Ram and Bheem characterizations, Naatu Naatu song and choreography that has left the audience all over the world in awe. Along with ‘RRR’, world wide Indian cinema got a craze. 

‘RRR’ has created new records at the box office. It has created a history of over Rs 220 cr collections on the first day. In the long run, it has collected a gross of Rs 1200 cr and created a record as the fourth film in the list of highest grossing Indian films. Moreover, it created history as an Indian film that was screened for many days in theaters in Japan and US.  

RRR created history by receiving the Golden Globe Awards. In addition, it has won awards from New York Film Critics Choice, Critics Choice Awards, Pandora Film International, Hollywood Critics Association and Los Angeles Film Critics Association in their respective categories.

A year after the release of the film, it still hasn’t got any craze in those countries, including India. It continues to trend even more after receiving the Oscar.
