Young Tiger Jr NTR and Gajala starrer movie Student No 1 completed 19 years as it was released on 27th September 2001. Student No 1 was helmed by SS Rajamouli and jointly bankrolled by Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao and Aswani Dutt. Jr NTR essayed the role of a law college student in Rajamouli’ directorial venture Student no 1 and the film was one of the blockbuster hits at the box office. MM Keeravani’s music was the highlight in Jr NTR starrer.
Rajamouli’ magnum opus Student No 1 was later remade in Tamil as the same title in 2003 and Oriya as Mate Ta Love Helare in 2008.
Meanwhile Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava star Jr NTR has reunited with SS Rajamouli for upcoming much awaited multilingual movie RRR. The film, which is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya also stars Ram Charan and is one of the biggest upcoming films of 2020. RRR also stars Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Shriya Saran and Ajay Devgn in the supporting roles.
