The horror comedy movie Anando Brahma completed 3 years of its release as it was released on 18th August 2017. The film Anando Brahma is directed by Yatra and Paathshala fame Mahi V Raghav and jointly bankrolled by Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy. The film had Tapasee Pannu, Srinivas Reddy and Vennela Kishore in the lead roles. Anando Brahma is the official inspiration of Hollywood movie The Others.
The horror flick is dubbed in Hindi as Kanchana 3 by Goldmine Telefilms Pvt Ltd. Movie was remade in several languages. Anando Brahma was officially remade in Tamil as Petromax and in Kannada as Mane Maratakkide. The horror and comedy movie Anando Brahma collected Rs 15 crore Worldwide gross.
The movie Anando Brahma is based on four characters, who are in desperate need of money for various reasons. Left with no other choice, all four of them – Srinivas Reddy, Vennela Kishore, Thagubothu Ramesh, Shakalaka Shankar, decide to spend a few days in a haunted house. The rest of the story is about what happens when these four characters come face to face with the ghosts.
On its opening day, the movie received a lot of applause for the performance, dialogues, Cinematography, BGM and the emotional backstory.
