SS Rajamouli‘ magnum opus Baahubali franchise has set a new benchmark of success in Indian cinema. Not just in Telugu, Young Rebel star Prabhas and Anushka Shetty starrer managed to win hearts country-wide. All the fans of this period franchise have a big question to ask from the makers, will there be any more Baahubali sequels in the future? The makers of Baahubali series have remained mum on the topic till now. But recently SS Rajamouli hinted that the announcement about the much demanded project – 3rd part from Baahubali Universe will come. Now only time will tell if Baahubali 3 materializes or remains an aspiration only.
Recently Rajamouli spoke to a media outlet and revealed that he has plans of making the 3rd part in the ‘Baahubali’ franchise. Magadheera film maker stated that only one film of his was left with an open ending and it is Baahubali 2 where a small girl asks at the end about Mahendra Baahubali’s rule and his heir. This left the door open for 3rd part.
On several occasions, Prabhas had said that Baahubali would always be close to his heart and the impact that it had left is unmatched.
On the otherside, Rajamouli is now getting ready to start his next project starring Mahesh Babu.
