One of the major highlights of this social dramaJanatha Garage was its songs including ‘Apple Beauty’ and ‘Pakka Local’. When released, ‘Apple Beauty’ featuring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Jr NTR turned many heads as it saw never-seen-before avatars of the two actors. Kajal Aggarwal shook a leg with Traak in ‘Pakka Local’ and her scintillating dance moves indeed left fans dumbstruck.
Kortala Siva’ magnum opus was also Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan’s maiden project in Tollywood. As expected the social drama garnered immense love from the audience, courtesy Tarak and Mohanlal’s on-screen chemistry. Interestingly, Janatha garage marked south diva Nithya Menen’s maiden collaboration with the handsome actor.
The movie was produced by renowned production banner Mythri Movie Makers which is currently backing biggies like Pushpa, and Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Made on a budget of Rs 50 crore, the film also featured Sachin Khedekar, Rahman, Sai Kumar, Devyani and Ajay in the important roles.
Janatha Garage won 2 National awards and Special jury Award for Mohanlal. Raju Sundaram Master won the best choreographer award for Pranamam Pranamam.
Now once again Jr NTR and Koratala Siva are going to work together for NTR30.
