Corona cases are increasing again in India. The number of people infected with the virus is increasing day by day across the country. Officials said that on Tuesday alone, 7,830 people across the country were infected with the virus. He explained that it is now after seven months that cases have been registered at this level. With this, the number of active cases in the country has reached 40,215. He said that 980 corona cases have come out in Delhi alone.
The daily positivity rate has reached 3.65 % and the weekly positivity rate has reached 3.83 %, officials said. He said that the percentage (recovery rate) of those recovering from the virus has reached 98.72 %. The Central Health Department has announced that 11 people have died of the virus on Tuesday. With this, the number of people who have died due to Corona in the country has reached 5,31,016.
As per the health ministry data, the active infections stand at 40,215. India had recorded a single-day jump of 7,946 COVID-19 cases on 1st September last year.
The ministry’s website confirmed that Rs 220.66 cr doses of vaccines have been administered in the country under the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination campaign.
