The people of India switched off lights at their homes and lit the candles and diyas or turned on mobile phone torches yesterday night i.e 5th April. The Indian responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’ appeal to show the solidarity in its fight against Covid- 19 coronavirus with this symbolic gesture. The celebrities from Telugu Film Industry including Megastar Chiranjeevi, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Stylish Star Allu Arjun, Dr Rajasekhar’ families were seen in their respective balconies with glowing diyas.
Superstar Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh Daggubati, Tamannah Bhatia, Pooja Hegde, Eesha Rebba, Payal Rajput, Karthikeya and others shared their pics holding Diyas and candles in their hands.
