Hari Shankar and Harish Narayan spill the beans on Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer upcoming women centric film ‘Yashoda’, which they say holds more surprises than just the surrogacy racket. The Chennai-based duo, who directed the Tamil films Ambuli, Orr Eravu, Aaah and Jambulingam, were keen to move away from the indie, 3D and horror spaces they had explored earlier and make a mainstream drama. During the media interaction, the directors revealed that the emotional core of Yashoda has been handled like an Indian film while the action portions play out like an international movie, blended in with the help of editor Marthand Venkatesh.
When the trailer of Yashoda was unveiled one scene where Samantha is chasedd by the native Indian breed Chippiparai which is based in Tamil Nadu, grabbed the attention of many. The historic breed has been used by kings as well back then. They are used for the film. The sources say that the film has a chase sequence where Samantha fights the aggressive breed. Specially trained dogs have been brought on the board and the trainers gave their best for this.
This time the audiences will get a chance to watch an intense sequence involving Samantha and aggressive Dog Breed.
