Currently the whole country is waiting for the movie ‘Adipurush’ starring Pan India Star Prabhas as Sri Ram and Kriti Sanon as Sita. The movie will release in theaters worldwide on June 16. Adipurush, helmed by Om Raut of Tanhaji fame is based on the epic Ramayana. Saif Ali Khan is playing the role of Ravana. The film will hit the screens in two weeks. Adipurush is made with a budget of around Rs 500 crores. Recently, information about the pre-release recovery of the film has come out.
The sources revealed that a huge amount has already been recovered. Bollywood sources have calculated that the film Adipurush has recovered 85 percent of its budget before its theatrical release. While this film is made with a budget of Rs 500 crores, the producers have already recovered around Rs432 crores.
From all the non-theatrical rights, including the satellite rights and digital rights of all languages, the figures have come out that Adipurush’ movie has earned Rs 247 crores. Also, South theatrical rights along with Telugu states were sold for Rs185 crores. People’s Media Factory has acquired the rights of Telugu states.
There is currently a positive buzz about Adipurush. Expectations have increased that this movie will collect more than Rs1,000 crores.
