Koratala Siva was recently in controversy when his movie’s story was struck with plagiarism issues. Koratala Siva is currently directing the film Acharya which has Mega Star Chiranjeevi in the lead role. The movie’s shooting was halted due to the pandemic situation. Had it not been the coronavirus, the movie’s shooting should have been completed by now.
The movie’s motion poster got released on August 22nd on the occasion of Chiranjeevi’s birthday. The makers have showcased Dharmasthali as the backdrop. Since the motion poster release, few writers are claiming that the movie’s story is copied from them.
However, Matinee Entertainments have released a press statement regarding this. They have clarified that the Acharya movie story is completely conceptualized by Koratala Siva. “It is absolutely ridiculous that the allegations are made just by watching a motion poster”, the production house stated.
It has also revealed that the team is looking forward to completing the movie at the earliest and present it before the audience.
