Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan is well known face for the Telugu people as he has received lot of applause for her performance in the role of Gemini Ganesan, in Mahanati, which was helmed by Nag Ashwin and Keerthy Suresh played the titular role of legendary actress Savitri.   His last movie was Varane Avashyamund, which also marks his production debut.  The movie which also has  Shobana, Suresh Gopi and Kalyani Priyadarshan, is bankrolled under the banner of Wayfarer films. Now Dulquer Salmaan is facing the heat from a reporter.

A Mumbai-based reporter accused Mollywood actor Dulquer Salmaan and the makers of the film Varane Avashyamund for using her picture without consent in one of the scenes of the movie. The reporter condemned them for making her a subject of body-shaming and said that she would take a legal action if they failed to apologize publicly.

Dulquer Salmaan and Kalyani Priyadarshan starrer movie Varane Avashyamund is currently available on Netflix and is into trouble for body-shaming. The Mumbai reporter said that her pictures were used in the film Varane Avashyamund without her consent.

Dulquer Salmaan quickly responded to the reporter’ tweet and apologized.  The director Anoop Sathyan also reacted on this issue and apologized.
