Kannada actress Shanaya Katwe has been arrested by Hubbali Rural police in the murder case of her brother Rakesh Katwe and his head was found in the Devaragudihal forest area, whereas his remaining body parts were disposed of across Gadag Road and other locations in Hubballi, Karnataka, recently.
The police officials formed few teams to investigate the murder case, after which four suspects who have been identified as Niyazahemed Katigar, Tousif Channapur, Altaf Mulla, and Aman Giraniwale were also arrested. The cop revealed that they found Rakesh Katwe’ murder linked to his own sister and Kannada actress Shanaya Katwe. The cops arrested Shanaya on 22nd April after the links were established and was sent to judicial custody. According to the report, Shanaya was having an affair with the accused Niyazahemed Katigar and when Rakesh didn’t approve of his sister affair so Katigar plotted to kill him.
The police also revealed that Shanaya Katwe visited Hubballi to promote her upcoming film and the murder took place on the same day in their house. Rakesh Katwe was strangled to death. A day later, Niyazahemed Katigar and his friends chopped Rakesh’ body and dumped the pieces in various locations of the city.
Shanaya Katwe is a model turned actress and she was also seen in adult comedy movie Ondu Ghanteya Kathe.
