Small time actress Sri Reddy made controversial allegations on filmmakers and star heroes on Telugu film industry. The actress who has been the part of few Telugu movies like A Film By Aravind, Nachuvale, Chandamama Lo Amrutham, Golconda High School, Ee Rojullo and Chammak Challo, made shocking revelations in an online interview. She slammed the Telugu film makers for casting other languages heroines in Tollywood. She asked, why the film maker are not giving priority to Telugu heroines. “Don’t we look beautiful. Don’t we maintain figure. We too are ready for skin show” said she.
She also opened up about the casting couch. She said, “Telugu filmmakers openly ask actresses whether they are ready to compromise or more precisely if they are willing to sleep with them inorder to get offers in their movies. Even after compromising the Telugu actresses only end up in sister or side roles.” The actress also said, “Few star heroes are also involved in such type of activities. It is unfortunate that four big families control Tollywood. I don’t wanna disclose the names.”
She further said, few actresses like Sai Pallavi needn’t have to do so as she is already a hit. Even Baahubali fame Tamannah Bhatia don’t have such a necessity. Why everyone is running after these busy Actresses? At least, they should offer chance to the struggling Telugu Heroines’. Sri urged the producers to encourage Telugu people.
