Prathibimbalu release date: Akkineni Nageswara Rao, widely known as ANR, was an Indian actor and producer, who was best known for working in Telugu film Industry. He starred in many landmark films in his seventy five-year career, becoming one of the most prominent figures in the history of Indian cinema. ANR is considered as one of the two pillars of Telugu Cinema along with Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. Now, an interesting update about an unreleased film of ANR is here.
In 1982, Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Jayasudha worked together in the film Prathibimbalu. But it was stalled and now after 40 years, the movie is going to hit the theaters. Apart from the lead actor, the movie also has Tulasi, Gummadi, Kantharao and many senior actors in the important roles.
Radhakrishna Murthy, the producer has confirmed by saying that ANR starrer Prathibimbalu will hit the silver screens on 20th September, 2022, on the occasion of actor’ birth anniversary.
Prathibimbalu was first directed by Raghavendra Rao’s father Prakash Rao and after his death Singeetham Srinivasa Rao completed the rest. It is bankrolled by Sri Vishnupriya Combines whereas the music is scored by Chakravarthy.
It is known that ANR- Akkineni Nageswara Rao, first director Prakash Rao and some actors are not alive. It is remarkable that this film is now going to be released after almost 40 years.
