After nearly five years of getting married in Italy, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding video has finally been released. The couple was recently seen in the first episode of the 8th season of the hit chat show Koffee with Karan. Host Karan Johar treated their fans to never-before-seen footage from their picture-perfect wedding.
The video follows Ranveer narrating how Ranveer proposed to Deepika in the Maldives and how they flew to Bengaluru to meet her parents and break the news of their engagement. However, Deepika’s mother is not too thrilled about choosing Ranveer but says that slowly, they have made their way into her heart.
The wedding footage begins with Ranveer talking about Deepika Padukone at their engagement party. Deepika’s father, former badminton champion Prakash Padukone, also said that Ranveer would bring some excitement and craziness to their ‘boring’ family of four.
Highlights include Ranveer dancing at their mehendi function near the lake, Deepika decked up in jewels as she prepares for the wedding, and exchanging vows at the mandap.
Karan gets emotional after watching the video. He said that watching the wedding video and seeing them sharing their love for each other made him so happy, he felt like he was missing something in life. Karan, who is currently single, has adopted children. He said he also wanted a partner to share life’s small sweet moments with. Deepika reassures Karan that she will find someone at the right time.
