Deepika Padukone is currently working with Young Rebel star Prabhas for an upcoming project which is tentatively titled Project K. It is helmed by Nag Ashwin and few days ago the makers launched the project with a formal pooja ceremony. Currently the makers are canning crucial scenes on Amitabh Bachchan and other cast of the film. According to the latest buzz, after wrapping up the shoot of Prabhas starrer, Deepika Padukone will work with Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth for a project.
On the otherside, Rajinikanth starrer upcoming movie Annaatthe has reached the final stage of shooting. Dardar actor is filming the last leg of the shooting in Chennai and soon the team will fly to Kolkata after which the post production work will start.
As Annaatthe is on the verge of completion, the pre-production works of his next film, directed by Desingh Periyasamy of Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal fame, has been started. The movie, which is presently referred to as Thalaivar 169, is being bankrolled by AGS Entertainment. The sources say that Deepika Padukone has been approached to play the female lead in Rajinikanth starrer Thalaivar 169.
Meanwhile, the actor and the film maker Dhanush will be directing his 170th film of Rajinikanth, which will be bankrolled by Rajini’ daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya.
