The mesmerizing and versatile actress, Priyamani has acted in many films across all South languages, is currently working with Venkatesh Daggubati in an upcoming revenge based drama Naarappa which is being helmed by Srikanth Addala.
Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Priyamani has also approached for sharing the screen space with none other than Megastar Chiranjeevi in a Telugu film, which is a remake of Malayalam drama Lucifer.
The Telugu remake of ‘Lucifer’ starring Chiranjeevi will be launched very soon and it will be helmed by Mohan Raja. Megastar Chiranjeevi will reprise the role of Mohanlal from the original. The sources say that the makers approached Priyamani to play the role of sister to Chiranjeevi. In the original film, Manju Warrier has done this role. Now we have to wait and see whether this National award winning actress Priyamani gives her nod to Mohan for his directorial venture or not. Satyadev has been roped in to play a crucial role.
If Narappaa lady says yes, this will be the first time, when she worked with Chiranjeevi. Chiranjeevi has decided to shoot for the remake from January 20. Lucifer remake will be jointly produced by NV Prasad and Konidela Productions.
