Akhil Akkineni’s pan-India project Agent which has Akhil Akkineni in the lead role, is all set for an April release. The movie which is helmed by Surender Reddy, also has Mammootty in the important role, will release worldwide on April 28. The film Agent has created a new record on the BMS- BookMy Show app before its release.

Akhil starrer spy thriller drama Agent has also completed its censor formalities and received a U/A certificate from the censor board and the final duration of the movie is around 2:36 hours which is perfect for a commercial movie.
The story for the movie was given by Vakkantham Vamsi. Funded by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema, Avinash Kolla is the art director whereas National Award winner Naveen Nooli is the editor. Sakshi Vaidya is playing the female lead and the love interest of Akhil.
Akhil Akkineni will be presented in an action-packed avatar in this spy entertainer, which will be high on action, the unit sources say.
Ajay Sunkara, Pathi Deepa Reddy are the co-producers of the film which will have a pan-India release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
