The police have announced that the dharna and agitation organized in Vijayawada demanding the government to support the clients of Agrigold will not be allowed. He clarified that no agitations are allowed in Vijayawada due to restrictions.

The government has imposed restrictions on agitation programs aimed at helping the agents of the clients who lost in the Agrigold case. Recently, ED has issued important orders attaching the properties of Agrigold. The state government has already paid more than Rs 900 crore to the clients. Agrigold’s efforts to raise funds through the sale of its assets are facing various hurdles. In this order, the Agrigold Customers and Agents Welfare Association has called for protests.

On Friday- 15th September, along with Chalo Vijayawada program, Sankharava Diksha was called in Gymkhana Ground. Vijayawada Police announced that these programs do not have any permission from the local police or the government.

Violation of prohibition orders will be punishable under Section 143,290,188 R/W 149 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 32 of the Police Act and Section 3 of the PDPP Act (Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act). He warned that he would take it.

According to the preliminary information, there is a possibility that some outsiders may join this dharna program and commit violence, and similar incidents have happened in the past as well, the police said.
