On Thursday, Bharti Airtel launched its 5G services in multiple locations across Hyderabad including railway stations, metro rail, and bus terminal.
Airtel will expand its 5G services to other parts of Hyderabad in a phased manner. Bharti Airtel Andhra Pradesh and Telangana CEO Shivan Bhargava said that Hyderabadis can enjoy ultra fast 5G connectivity ‘Airtel 5G Plus’.
Where it will be available- Hyderabad Metro Rail, Secunderabad, Kachiguda Railway Stations, Imliban Bus Depot as well as Begumpet, Gachibowli, Boinapally, Kompally, RTC Cross Roads, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Hi-Tech City, Kothi, Malakpet, Charminar, Habsiguda, Airtel 5G services will be available in Uppal, Nagol, Kukatpally, Miyapur and other areas. 5G services will be extended to other areas in a phased manner.
No need to change SIM – Airtel 5G Plus services can be availed on all types of 5G phones. The company claims that subscribers can enjoy clarity of speech and high data speed. Subscribers can use 5G services with the current data plan till the network is expanded further. 5G services can be availed with existing 4G SIM only. Airtel claims that subscribers can get 20-30 times higher speed compared to what they are getting on 4G now. Subscribers can avail many facilities like HD video streaming, multiple chatting, gaming, instant uploading of photographs.
