Akhil Akkineni was last seen playing the lead role in action thriller drama Agent . The movie was released amid huge expectations with a budget of around eighty crores and turned out to be a disaster. Along with the story and stories, Surender Reddy’ direction was severely criticized. The film failed to collect even ten crores, leaving a huge loss for the producers. Akhil allotted three years time for this film. He got a complete makeover as an actor. But all his efforts remained in vain. Akhil is rumored to be doing his next film with debutant director Anil after Agent. It is rumored that the title Dheera is being considered for this movie which is being made as a fantasy love story.
The reports are coming that this title Dheera is going to be fixed according to the story. The movie is going to be made with a limited budget. In the past, Akhil worked as an assistant director for some other films along with Saaho. He is going to enter Tollywood as a director with this film.
The sources say that the film unit is busy finalizing the heroine as well as other actors and technicians in this film. Akhil Akkineni, who entered Tollywood with the movie Akhil , has done five films so far. Among them, the Most Eligible Bachelor was average and the rest of the films turned out to be disasters.
It is also being heard that Akhil is going to do a movie with Vamsi Paidipally along with UV Creations movie.
