The movie was directed by Vedantam Raghavaiah and produced by Akella Sastry under the Sangeetha Films banner. starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo was recorded as a Super Hit at the box office. It was also a loose remake of the Hindi film Munimji. It is known the news that Trivikram Srinivas is popular for remakes and currently he is busy in his upcoming directorial venture Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo starring Allu Arjun.
