The love birds, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot in April this year. They had been dating for five years and married in an intimate wedding ceremony at their home in Mumbai. 2022 is a big year for him, not only work wise but on the personal front as well. He is making his comeback to the big screen after four years with a big budget movie Shamshera. He also has a big budget drama Brahmastra lined up 45 days after the YRF film release. At the trailer launch of Shamshera, Ranbir Kapoor opened up about his wife Alia Bhatt.
Ranbir Kapoor talked about his famous dialogue in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, and said, “I used to say, in my movies, that ‘Shaadi is daal chawal for 50 saal till you die. Life mein toda bahut tangdi kabbab, kheema pao, haka noodle hona chaiye.’ But boss, zindagi ke tajurbay ke baad, daal chawal hi best hai. Mere life mein jo Alia Bhatt hai, wo daal chawal with tadka hai, achaar hai, kaanda hai, sab kuch hai. “ he concluded it by saying, “ couldn’t have asked for a better partner in my life.”
In Shamshera, Ranbir Kapoor is playing the dual role- father and a son.
