This year Alia Bhatt delivered two movies – Gangubai Kathiawadi and RRR. Gangubai Kathiawadi is a women centric movie which is helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She made her debut in Tollywood with Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer RRR which is helmed by SS Rajamouli. Recently during an interview, Bollywood talented actress Alia Bhatt spoke about how she came up with the swag walking style as Gangubai. She revealed that she wanted to change her walking style after watching her paparazzi videos on social media. When she watched her own paparazzi videos, she felt like she walked strangely, like a duck. She had to make it more interesting.
Alia Bhatt added, “ When I watched Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer rural drama Pushpa. I was just taken in by Allu Arjun’ inherent swag. Swag has to be felt. It should be recognized as a talent.”
Gangubai Kathiawadi is produced by Jayantilal Gada and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film also stars Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, Indira Tiwari , Seema Pahwa, Ajay Devgn and others.
Alia Bhatt will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra which is scheduled to release on 9th September 2022. The fantasy drama also has Ranbir Kapoor, Big B aka Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
